A320 Cockpit by dragonslayero A320 Cockpit by dragonslayero
Now for the photo I mentioned in my journal.
As I have said this is a technical photo, a photo oppurtunity that I simply coulden't miss.
You might know that for the past two weeks I have spent my time on Sardinia to do an onwing job on a jet engine.
With it being the last day I simply coulden't let my chance slip and I asked the few simple words:
"Mind if I get a photo of the cockpit?"

With those words it was done.
And here you have it.
The newly overhauled, cleaned and refurbished cockpit of an Airbus 320 aircraft.
For reasons of copyright I'm not listing the aircraft registration or owner.
Lets just say that the aircraft was leased from a Chinese airline to a certain airline in Europe, an airline that has close cooperation with Meridiana who is based at Olbia, Costa Smeralda airport.

Nuff said. :)

Camera: Canon EOS 40D
Lens: Sigma EX 10-20mm DC
Filter Canon 77mm protection
Photo made from two exposures layered in photoshop.

Photo 1: f-5 1/40 ISO 200
Photo 1: f-4 1/13 ISO 200

Thanks!
This was more of a personal victory than a simple photo. As I am always working in a workshop around the engines it is a great change of pace to get out and about the aircraft themselves. Besides, it gives a great flashback to my old days as a baggagehandler.

Thanks for the interest and the comment.
